If check-in issues arise – such as inability to access the yacht, unresponsive listing owner, or unresolved problems –SailSecure steps in. We'll assist in finding a similar yacht available at comparable pricing or offer a refund if rebooking isn't desired or possible.
Force Majeure & Weather-Related Problems
Flexibility is key in unexpected scenarios like lockdowns, travel restrictions, or adverse weather. Guests have options for full refunds, postponing bookings, or both, safeguarding their booking fees.
Listing Owner Cancellation
If your listing owner cancels within 45 days of check-in, we'll assist in finding a similar yacht available at comparable pricing or offer a refund if rebooking isn't desired or possible.
Shortening the Charter Period
Should the charter be cut short, 6 hours or 1/10th of the total charter time, whichever is shorter, due to unforeseen circumstances, we'll refund the amount corresponding to the unused time or extend the charter period.
Significant Difference in Listing Details
If the yacht significantly deviates from its advertised description and the listing owner cannot remedy the situation, we're here to help. SailSecure will facilitate finding an alternative yacht of similar quality or offer a full or partial refund if rebooking isn't an option or preferred by the guest.

If there is a discrepancy between the guest's account and the host's or if further verification is needed, a resolution process will start. This process aims to fairly assess the situation and determine the most appropriate course of action.
